Happy New Year Everyone! How about some Therapy Ideas Live motivation to get 2013 started? All 10 lightning talks from our September 2012 event at UCL, are now on the website.

These 5 minute videos are bite-sized CPD opportunities about a huge range of topics from the Nuffield Dyspraxia Program to using gestures in therapy. There are talks on Lego Therapy, the importance of marketing in SLT and a story book project with adults with brain injuries. Have a look.

The next evening of Therapy Ideas Live Lightning talks is on Wednesday March 6th at Google Campus, Shoreditch. The first round of speaker announcements is coming soon. You can get your tickets here.

I’m looking for a couple more therapists to present talks. Each speaker has 5 minutes and 20 slides that are set up to move forward every 15 seconds. It’s a dynamic, exciting format, and inclusive because anyone can give a lightning talk, even you! If your goals for 2013 include being brave, stepping outside your comfort zone, or growing your professional network this could be the event for you. Get in touch to discuss your ideas or ask any questions.

If March isn’t a good time for you and you want to support the Therapy Ideas Live community how about recommending an SLT friend or colleague? If you know someone who’d give a great lightning talk send me their details, I’d love to ask them to present.

2013 is going to be an exciting year here at Therapy Ideas Live HQ, stay tuned!
